Home-Room is an initiative to discuss what an active role of the creative can be nowadays. We want to share and understand what it means to get take a stand and to involve realities beyond the autonomy of the arts.
We share our living room and our online space to better understand what our own friends do to create alternatives to their everyday jobs. What can we do to fight the reclusive relativism of the arts on one hand and a total global commodification of business on the other hand? Home-Room creates a small forum that takes local thinking serious. Here pro-active minds share how they difference.

Jeannette Kuo She is an architect who has taught design studios at Harvard Graduate School of Design, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and U.C. Berkeley STUDIOKUO
Silvia Benedito is an architect, urban designer, and musician. She has taught studios at University of Pennsylvania and presently she is a senior associate at Field Operations.
C. Axel Häusler is an architect and artist who has taught in Europe and the USA at schools such as Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, and the Technical University Munich ARTWORK
Silvia and Axel run the architecture office OFICINAA.net together.
